Don't Follow the Wind is an international art exhibition that opened in March 11, 2015 in the Fukushima Exclusion Zone surrounding the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant owned by TEPCO in Japan.
The exhibition is ongoing but has been inaccessible since the radioactive zone is closed to the public.
More than a decade has passed since the earthquake, and the Don't Follow the Wind venue is now open to the public, as the evacuation order has been lifted in August 2022 (based on the government's decision that the air dose rate is less than 3.8 microsievert per hour, infrastructure has been restored, and consultations with local residents have been held).
Meiro Koizumi. At the end of October 2022 the artwork will be re-created and expanded on the site by the artist be open to public for 16 days. This is the first of twelve artist projects in Don’t Follow the Wind to be accessible to the public. Please note that this venue will not be included when another venues open in the future. There is no known time when the other works inside the zone will be accessible.

The Don't Follow the Wind flag is flying at the venue.(To get to JR Futaba Station, take the JR Joban Line limited express trains Hitachi-Tokiwa direct from Tokyo.)
MOCAF STORE is open near the venue during the exhibition.
By car:
A public parking lot is in front of JR Futaba Station (about 10 minutes, approx. 5km, from the Joban Futaba IC on the Joban Expressway)
